What We Do
The Wealth Administrator oversees daily operational activities, serving as the primary contact for administrative needs and is responsible for reviewing and processing various transaction requests on client accounts in an accurate and timely manner.
The successful candidate must have a strong background in portfolio administration and operations. As a Wealth Administrator, you will oversee various tasks from Fidelity Head Office and clients, while also incorporating the following responsibilities.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Client Administration
- Prepare and process client documentation, including account applications, forms, prospect letters and other related paperwork using digital tools
- Actively support the implementation of client wealth strategies through detailed and accurate management of portfolio administration tasks and activities
- Record maintenance Update and maintain accuracy of client information in Salesforce CRM and Portfolio Management System
- Operations Support and Reporting
- Liaise with custodian on day-to-day operational matters (Cash management, Account opening, Transfer initiation and monitoring)
- Perform daily reconciliation duties
- Ensure Trade processing is complete and handle Corporate Action processes.
- Work with custodian to resolve trade settlement issues in a timely manner.
- Help onboard new relationship managers & support back-office operations with user setup on systems
- Perform all tasks in accordance with regulatory requirements and adhere to policies and procedures to ensure compliance
- Prepare Ad-hoc reports for clients, relationship managers and management
What You’ll Need
- Strong industry, product, and wealth management procedures knowledge
- Exceptional administrative skills
- Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Team player with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment crossing multiple channels and/or workstreams
- Enjoys wearing many hats, rolling up sleeves and getting things done
- Bilingual (English and French) would be an asset
- Project Administration
What We’re Looking For
- Completion of a University degree (in Business, Commerce, Finance or related field) or equivalent work experience
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in wealth management operations
- Reconciliation experience and familiarity with Portfolio Management tools
- Broadridge Dataphile experience is an asset
- Completion of CSC and CPH is nice to have
