Your role
As a valued member of the Marketing Strategies team, the Regional Marketing Coordinator position is your opportunity to work on a variety of marketing and lead generation activities that help us achieve our business goals.
Applying strong execution skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple groups, you will deliver marketing and communication tactics including regional event support, project and people photography, occasional client and market research, and tailored marketing materials such as presentations and collateral.
In the Coordinator role, you will be exposed to, and become fully familiar with, Colliers Project Leaders’ overall priorities, business plans, key services and sectors. You will
build relationships with internal subject matter experts throughout the company, and develop expertise in strategic value positioning, as well as brand and writing style, among other Colliers Project Leaders standards.
You will be joining a dynamic and extremely supportive marketing group, and work with colleagues across Western Canada and nationwide.
Reporting to the Senior Regional Marketing Specialist, the Regional Marketing Coordinator will:
- Provide marketing support to assigned Business Units (BUs).
- Coordinate and execute marketing and business development activities for all services including, but not limited to, creating or tailoring materials (collateral, client presentations, etc.), prospect research, event coordination, photography, and client profiles - while ensuring the quality, brand integrity and timeliness of those deliverables.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Strategies and Brand & Communications teams to leverage branded materials and tools, and coordinate and customize as applicable for assigned BU(s) within brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and the Business Development teams to support and execute marketing initiatives and other duties as required.
- Curate content for inclusion in internal communications (newsletters, project wins, etc.) relevant to assigned BU(s).
- Support our social media presence by coordinating and providing content to Brand & Communications on key wins, completed projects and notable activities that reflect our corporate values.
- Lead or support other writing/content development activities as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Regional Marketing Specialist and/or Senior Manager, Marketing Strategies.
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Public Relations.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suites (in particular, InDesign).
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or in a professional services / consulting company.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident self-starter with a proactive approach to completing tasks.
- Highly organized, attentive to detail and goal oriented.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, track projects and meet urgent deadlines.
- Collaborative and enjoys working in a team environment.
- Ability to work and support others, in-person and remotely.
- Eager to learn and develop new skills.
