As an
Associate, Operations Strategy at Hiive, you will play a pivotal role in driving internal operational excellence across the organization. This is a high-impact, fast-paced position, ideal for someone who thrives in improving processes, solving operational inefficiencies, and implementing scalable solutions. Your work will span multiple departments and you’ll lead projects aimed at optimizing workflows, streamlining processes, and enhancing overall efficiency within the company.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Would Include
- Collaborate with the Capital Markets, Execution, Finance, and Marketing teams to design, implement, and improve systems and processes that align with evolving business needs.
- Develop and implement sales, product, or business strategies that address complex business challenges, with a focus on driving exponential growth and operational efficiency.
- Analyze current operational processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of best practices, standard operating procedures, and internal policies.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Commerce, Economics) with a strong academic record.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software applications, systems, and processes.
- Interest in venture capital, startups, and private equity, with an understanding of the unique challenges faced by high-growth companies.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient, with a strong ability to manage and process large datasets, including data import/exports and migrations.
- Collaborative and flexible team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Process-oriented and open-minded, with a strong desire to iterate, optimize, and continuously improve systems and workflows.
- Ability to combine business context with analytics to diagnose problem areas and develop customized, impactful solutions.
Preferred Skills
- 2-4 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or startup Strategy and Operations/BizOps roles.
- 2+ years of experience working with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex, ambiguous topics into clear and compelling narratives tailored to different audiences.
- Experience with Python, SQL, or Apex for data analysis and process automation.
