Purpose of the Role:
As the Accounts Payable Associate, you will provide support to the Manager, Accounting Operations by handling a variety of tasks to ensure that all invoices, and other payables are recorded accurately and within tight deadlines. You will also provide support to the organization through ensuring positive vendor relationships and maintaining on time payments of vendor accounts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- You have prior accounts payable experience in a related industry.
- You are proficient in MS Office Suite.
- You have excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You have strong organizational and planning skills.
- You are a multi-tasker with an upbeat attitude.
Bonus Skills and Qualifications:
- You are proficient in Business Central D365BC.
What Success looks like in this role:
- You will match all invoices to supporting documentation and obtain necessary approvals.
- You will apply appropriate coding to invoices, including GL accounts, department and work package references.
- You will review invoices for sales tax compliance.
- You will enter invoices into accounting software, Microsoft D365BC.
- You will review, reconcile and enter credit card expenses.
- You will assist with semi-monthly payment run preparation, mailing and filing.
