Administrative Intern
January 6 to April 11, 2025 (flexible)
Part-time, in-person at Bathurst and Davenport
General Hours of Work: 9:30am - 5:30pm
Pay: $17.20/hr
Thirsty Pretzels is looking for a motivated intern to join our team for 2-3 days per week, in-person, with a pay rate of $17.20/hour. This is a great opportunity to learn the ropes of the music industry and network in a collaborative, hands-on environment. Experience in grant writing builds knowledge in virtually every facet of the music industry, as we are required to understand the building and execution of artist projects from top to bottom in order to best serve our clients.
Responsibilities:
● Administrative support for grant writing and funding applications.
● Assist with project management tasks, such as coordinating album release timelines and tour schedules.
● Help create and manage social media content.
What You'll Learn:
● How to prepare and manage grant proposals for music projects.
● Practical skills in handling album and tour budgets.
● Insights into release timelines, tour management, artist promotional strategies, project planning and more.
● Experience in building and executing social media strategies.
● How to engage with clients and accelerate projects.
Qualifications:
● Recent graduate or currently enrolled in a college or university program
● Strong organizational and communication skills.
● Interest in the music industry and a willingness to learn.
● Familiarity with Canva and/or Adobe Suite is a plus
● Familiarity with Excel is a plus.
● Familiarity with Google Suite (sheets, docs, slides, etc.) is a plus
