Salary: $66,924-$83,655 (To commensurate with experience and consistent with UHN compensation policy)

Position Summary
As a member of the Supply Chain Decision Support team within our Procurement and Supply Chain portfolio, the Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the Senior Business Analysts and portfolio leadership in providing in-depth reporting and analysis to enhance supply chain operation and efficiency across the system. Their work will support Sourcing, Purchasing, Materials Management, Finance and Clinical partners through a range of ad hoc and routine activities, including spend and rebate analysis, reporting on key performance indicators.
Duties
- Analyze procurement data to identify spending trends, supplier performance, and potential opportunities to increase efficiency
- Support the routine reporting activities for stakeholders, providing data and information as well as recommendations on opportunities for efficient procurement and cost savings
- Effectively use data visualization tools to clearly communicate findings, risks and recommendations
- Support the maintenance of a performance management framework in collaboration with team members
- Maintain KPI dashboards combining data from a number of different sources
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders and operate with a reasonable level of independence
- Support various procurement activities or initiatives as requested
- Conduct data quality investigations and engage in continuous data quality improvement
- Perform cross-functional and/or other duties consistent with the job classification, as assigned or requested
Qualifications
- University degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent program
- Minimum one (1) year of related experience in a supply chain/financial environment analyzing financial/business data
- Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Ability to organize, control and coordinate a variety of activities in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities
- Ability to synthesize complex data, explaining key elements, drawing insight
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server) is preferred
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Ariba are assets
- Adheres to confidentiality policy for sensitive financial and clinical data and information
