Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
- Process sales transactions efficiently using the cash register or point-of-sale system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy in all financial exchanges.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Conduct product demonstrations when necessary to inform customers about new products or promotions.
- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area to ensure a pleasant shopping environment
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly workspace.
- Previous experience in foodcourt or cafe is highly preferred
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products offered by the store.
