About This Opportunity
We are looking for an IT Enterprise Enablement Intern to join Celestica and support our projects and Business Excellence team in Toronto. The successful candidate should have an interest in strategic enablement, transformation and leading technologies.
The incumbent will support the Business Excellence team in managing global stakeholders, conducting change risk assessments, stakeholder analysis, workshop facilitation, business readiness, and learning & development activities. The intern will also experience how to assess, plan, and manage large-scale and global change with stakeholders in North America, Europe and/or Asia.
Activities
Business Excellence and Enterprise Enablement:
- Through organizational assessments and understanding of the business objectives, support the development of change management strategies and actions applicable to the initiative and in alignment with the program plan. Support...

- Development of change, communication and/or project management plans
- Communications (written and digital)
- Knowledge sharing and education sessions
- Process maps and presentations
Data And Process
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate and present solutions to support complex business priorities.
- Support in maintaining risk and issue logs for projects
- Performs trending analysis and review of large datasets to identify opportunities and offer solutions.
- Contributes to defined projects or tasks under direct supervision.
- Documents processes or updates existing procedure manuals and or internal web content.
- Assesses options for process improvement, including business process mapping
Project Management
- Maintain PMO tools, processes and templates
- Support management of project portfolio via internal toolsets and reports and provide metrics, reports and dashboards related to projects and programs
- Collect data for project KPI reporting as well as project trend analysis
- Manage and document regular project reporting meetings
Preferred Skills
- Demonstrates an ownership, accountability and problem solving mindset
- Able to establish / maintain relationships and work effectively at all levels
- Willingness to learn new project management toolsets/applications
- Demonstrates knowledge of program, process & change management principles, frameworks and tools
- Experience in planning, developing, reporting on activities
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; strong active listening skills
- Experience with data gathering, analysis and trend reporting
- Strong organization skills - Ability to plan, organize and manage priorities
- Experience using Google applications and data visualization software
- Strong documentation skills including proofreading to ensure accuracy of content
- Interest or experience in communications, writing, journalism, and/or video stories.
Physical Demands
- Duties of this position are performed in a normal office.
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data
- Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g. data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc).
- Basic manufacturing system knowledge.
