Our client, a renowned leader in the supply chain and freight forwarding industry, is seeking a dynamic Field Sales Representative to join their vibrant Vancouver team! Based in Vancouver, this role will cover the territories of British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan.
As a Field Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving new business, expanding market reach, and building lasting client relationships. If you’re a motivated, results-oriented professional with a passion for success in the freight forwarding sector, this is your chance to excel!
Responsibilities
- Drive growth by spearheading efforts to attract and secure new clients.
- Take direct ownership of Net Sales and Gross Profit at both the customer and shipment levels through your personal initiative and dedication.
- Actively pursue external sales opportunities with both potential and existing clients to build and strengthen relationships.
- Promote our full range of products and services to ensure a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Consistently update Salesforce with timely and accurate information, ensuring all key fields are filled for effective country and regional reporting.
- Collaborate with Director of Business Development to determine effective sales strategies that align with organizational directives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with medium to large accounts to drive ongoing business success.
- Ensure all expenses are recorded accurately in the compliance portal to maintain transparency and accountability.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in the Freight Forwarding industry.
- A driven, results-oriented mindset with a passion for sales.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software
- Experience in account management and technical sales is a plus
