We’re looking for a skilled Draftsperson to join our team and help translate designs into detailed, precise technical drawings.
Position Overview:
As a Draftsperson with us, you’ll work closely with our design team, specializing in creating detailed drawings and renderings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software. This role is essential in ensuring our designs are both accurate and visually compelling, providing our clients with a clear vision of their new space.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce accurate, detailed technical drawings in AutoCAD for residential design projects.
Develop 3D models and renderings in SketchUp to visualize project designs.
Collaborate with designers to ensure all drawings meet project requirements and design specifications.
Maintain organization and consistency across project files and versions.
Communicate efficiently with the team to meet project timelines and ensure all client needs are met.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with AutoCAD and SketchUp, specifically within residential design. (Revit is a bonus)
Proficiency in rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Enscape) to produce high-quality visuals.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Must be highly organized and adept at working in a fast-paced studio environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Must reside in Toronto and be able to work on-site at our Leslieville studio.
