What you will do
As a Sales Representative, you will plan, direct, and coordinate the selling of Stryker products (specifically Stryker's Neurosurgical and ENT portfolios) to physicians in accordance with budgeted objectives and to obtain maximum profitability and volume in relation to pre-set standards. This individual must serve as a contributing member of the Instruments sales team while championing Stryker’s Mission and Values.
Responsibilities:
- Promotes and sells a portfolio of clinically focused products, services and solutions directly to current and new end customers. Informs customers of new product/service introductions and prices.
- Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline
- Directly responsible for the promotion and sale of Stryker’s Neurosurgical and ENT products as assigned by sales manager
- Educates and informs doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker Products
- Directs product evaluations in operating rooms, hospitals and office settings
- May assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings
- Keeps Sales Manager informed of territory progress on a regular basis
- Solves product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion
- May assist in the training and development of other sales personnel
- Managing and maintaining a sample inventory of products
- Must understand and adhere to all operating room and pertinent Occupational Health and Safety Act guidelines when conducting a product evaluation
- Has the necessary authority to execute above mentioned job responsibilities, and will have authority to carry out specific responsibilities defined by quality system documents
- Has authority to recommend and initiate preventative and correction action with regard to product non-conformances and quality system activities
- Educates and informs doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker Products
- Directs product evaluations in operating rooms, hospitals and office settings Understand that compliance with the Code of Conduct, as it may be amended by Stryker Corporation from time to time, is a condition of continued employment with Stryker
- Conduct work in compliance with all laws, rules, and regulations and in accordance with Stryker’s high ethical standards
- Report any violations of these policies and procedures to Stryker management or in the manner outlined in Stryker’s Ethics Hotline Policy
What you need:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent (preferably in Science, Business or related field)
- 3 + years of outside sales experience
- Attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual
- Professional knowledge gained through substantial applicable work experience, to supplement formal knowledge, in order to apply principles and concepts of own subject/technical discipline in resolving issues as they arrive
