About This Team
The women’s design team is a group of creative industry leaders, blending innovation with a forward-thinking vision to set the standard for both active and lifestyle apparel. They are proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused. They are strong communicators who are dedicated to fostering a culture of open feedback and continuous growth. A day in the life
- A Design Assistant at lululemon supports in creating world class active apparel that is acknowledged as leading in innovation, design, function, fit and quality. You are guided and mentored by the Design Lead. You play a key supporting role, and this work is key to the success of each season’s collection.
- Act as Design support – be the Design Lead and team’s right-hand person to support with day-to-day tasks
- Creating flat sketches and technicals for styles designed by the Designer/Senior Designer
- Supporting the design team in presentation preparation for all gates including file set-up, mock-ups, prototypes, dressing models, etc.
- Present for all fittings and design/product-related meetings to capture feedback and actions
- Updating overview files and line sheets
- Shadow critical design work to showcase and develop your design point of view
Qualifications
- 0-2 years minimum industry experience is required
- BA, BFA or BS in Design required
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Excel, Word, Mac platform
- An understanding in 3D design is a benefit

Compensation And Benefits Package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from
$55,300-72,600 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program subject to program eligibility requirements.

This role is classified as Hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy: In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
