Program Overview
This position is a part of the Mueller Development Program (MDP). This two-year program will provide a broad range of experiences to improve leadership skills, enhance technical knowledge, and build confidence. The program offers professional development opportunities, mentorship, and organized events for all MDPs. Upon completion of the program, the Electrical Engineering MDP will receive a full-time placement in Mueller! Rotation location will be assigned based on business needs and career aspirations.
This provides you with challenging work and accelerated growth while supporting management to make effective decisions directly impacting the business. This also includes partnering with leaders to implement strategy and process to influence change while building relationships.
Electrical Engineering Track Overview
Our Electrical Engineering Development Program offers experience in Hardware Design, Firmware Engineering, Product Management, Test Engineering, Software Development, Data Analysis, and Field Operations. Explore the vast array of challenging careers available at Mueller Water Products.
During this program, participants will gain exposure to many programming languages, including Python, C/C++, and Visual Basic. Assigned projects and daily work will not be in the form of proof-of-concept work, but projects that deliver value to the business, where you are a part of the organization from day one!

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electronics
- 0-2 years of relevant engineering experience
- Working knowledge of Hardware/Embedded Software development life cycle
- Knowledge of Electronic and Mechanical manufacturing process
- Familiarity with electronic measurement equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope)
- Familiarity with electronic component parameters and reading datasheets
Preferred
- Basic knowledge of RF concepts spanning transmitter and receiver architecture, RF principles, antennas
- Familiarity with sensor technologies, creating schematics & bill of materials
- Able to investigate problems to the root cause and then champion the creation and implementation of corrective actions
Mueller is located in the Junction Triangle neighborhood of Toronto. Our office is transit accessible via GO Transit/ UP Express (Bloor GO Station) as well as TTC Dundas West station.
