Job Description:
The Software Engineer is responsible for new product developments, product updates & improvements. The software engineer will take active roles at the beginning of product design cycle from product concept to production launch, through definition, implementation, and documentation. This person must be able to work well with team members.
- Implement software code to meet engineering requirements.
- Achieve schedule commitments with implementation plans, and takes initiatives to identify and remove roadblocks.
- Debug existing and created software bugs.
- Maintain existing products.
- Write test code for existing and created code to ensure compatibility and stability.
Job Skills/ Requirements:
- Programming experience in C/C++;
- Experience with Embedded system development;
- Experience with JavaScript/Ajax, HTML, CSS, Java is a plus;
- Experience with Windows/Linux system level programming is a plus;
- Experience with network and web technologies (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, DNS, etc) is a plus;
- Ability to work independently as well as in teamwork focused environment.
Education Requirement:
- B.S. / M.S. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
