Role Overview
As a Holiday Sales Associate at Dandylion, you’ll be on the frontlines during our busiest season, helping customers find the perfect gifts for their dogs. You will assist with in-store retail, pop-ups, and events while embodying the Dandylion values of premium care, innovation, and community connection.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, creating a welcoming and positive shopping experience.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering product-related questions, offering grooming tips, and suggesting product pairings.
- Process sales transactions, manage point-of-sale, and maintain accurate sales records.
- Help set up and organize merchandise displays to ensure product visibility.
- Assist with restocking shelves and ensuring the store is clean, organized, and well-presented.
- Participate in Dandylion events and pop-up shops, interacting with the dog-loving community.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions and holiday offers to drive sales.
Qualifications
- Passion for dogs and enthusiasm for Dandylion’s products and mission.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Experience in e-commerce or retail customer service preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during holiday rushes.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including Saturday and holidays
- Strong customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Bonus Skills
- Experience working with pet care or grooming products.
- Social media savvy and ability to film content and promote Dandylion products online.
