We are looking for Resident Services Specialists to elevate our residents' experience and deliver on operational excellence on a part-time or casual basis.
Job Summary
The Resident Services Specialist (Front Desk) is the central hub for all resident services. As the first point of contact for residents, guests, trades, and prospective residents, this role is essential in fostering a positive community experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet all guests and residents professionally and courteously.
- Update resident information, including names, addresses, and insurance, in the software system.
- Monitor and update the status of work orders, resident inquiries, and rental payments.
- Handle bookings for common areas, such as elevators, the media room, and the guest suite.
- Accept and notify residents of the delivery of parcels and mail, and track them in the software system.
- Log and record all resident complaints.
- Prepare and distribute building notices and memos.
- Assist in coordinating resident contests and social events.
- Support the Leasing Specialist with responding to rental inquiries and scheduling appointments.
- Assist with resident move-ins, move-outs, and incoming unit inspections/tours.
- Provide access to trades visiting the property, including signing out building keys.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and review footage as necessary.
- Manage the sign-out of rental items, including dollies, carts, ladders, and other tools.
- Perform other general administration duties, as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other relevant software
- Yardi experience an asset
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in fast-paced environments
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable with shift work, including day, evenings, weekends and holidays.
