What does a Security Guard in Downtown, Toronto do?
- Receive incoming emergency and non-emergency calls from community and non-community members
- Initiate the appropriate response in a timely manner including connecting and transferring the caller to the right person
- Operate with various computerized communication devices and associated equipment to receive, assess and relay information from the public to security personnel in a courteous, professional, and expedient manner
- Remain calm under pressure and be able to multitask during high call volumes from telephone and radio communications
- Be able to prioritize and dispatch accordingly
- Problem solve on the go utilizing tools and training you’ve acquired
Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Downtown, Toronto do ?
- A valid security guard license
- A valid CPR certification recognized by WSIB
- Available to work flexible hours
- Previous Control Center experience (Minimum of 6 months)
