Job Summary:
The Operations Associate will support the day-to-day operations of CanPrev's supply chain, logistics, and inventory management processes. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively across teams. The Operations Associate will play a key role in ensuring that our products are efficiently managed from production to delivery, contributing to the overall success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock counts and tracking. Coordinate with the warehouse team to optimize space utilization and inventory flow.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Assist in the management of supply chain activities, including sourcing, procurement, and vendor relationships. Support the timely and cost-effective acquisition of raw materials and finished goods.
- Order Processing: Handle order processing, tracking, and fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery to customers. Liaise with shipping and logistics providers to track shipments and resolve any issues that arise.
- Data Analysis: Assist with the analysis of operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Generate reports and insights that contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements within operations, enhancing overall efficiency and productivity.
- Cross-functional Support: Work closely with the production, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment on operational priorities and to support cross-functional initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in an operations, logistics, or supply chain role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with inventory management software or ERP systems.
- Problem-solving mindset with a keen attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the natural health or pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of supply chain best practices and logistics management.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for natural health products.
Pay: $48,000.00- $55,000.00 per year.
