$65,000- $75,000 with excellent benefits
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to Senior Managers in managing equity and debt, partnerships, and joint ventures, in line with their legal structures and in coordination with cost consultants and lenders.
- Communicate and engage with investment partners regarding accounting inquiries and statements.
- Conduct financial analysis for the internal executive team, with a focus on seeking improvements and ensuring compliance with objectives.
- Assist in preparing quarterly reports for distribution to investors, partners, and lenders.
- Oversee and manage invoice payments, ensuring alignment with contracts for accurate and consistent processes.
- Assist in reconciling accounts and provide necessary reporting to external accounting firms for year-end filings.
- Review and prepare HST input tax credits for projects.
- Manage schedules related to reporting requirements, budgeting, and investor reporting.
- Track budgets and project performance, delivering monthly budget forecasts.
- Assist with accounts payable and approve construction-related invoices.
Requirements:
- CPA designation or nearing completion is an asset.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working independently and autonomously.
- Detail-oriented and focused.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Comfortable working in a paperless accounting environment.
