Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist (6-Month Contract)

- Prepare and Post Job Advertisements: Create and post job listings on various job boards and the company website to attract potential candidates.
- Manage Applicant Tracking System (Dayforce): Maintain and grow the candidate pipeline by shortlisting resumes, contacting applicants, scheduling phone screens, and assessing candidates for interview recommendations.
- Coordinate and Participate in Interviews: Work closely with hiring managers to evaluate candidates throughout the interview process.
- Develop Recruitment Strategies: Recommend and implement recruitment strategies that align with organizational goals, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.
- Candidate Advisement: Provide guidance to job applicants regarding employment requirements, terms, and conditions of employment.
- Oversee Onboarding Process: Prepare employment offers and ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed for new hires.
- Support Strategic Sourcing Initiatives: Participate in career fairs, information sessions, and other recruitment events to source top talent for the organization.
- Track Recruitment Metrics: Contribute to the collection and reporting of recruitment metrics to monitor the success of hiring strategies.
- Collaborate with HR Team: Actively participate in HR team initiatives, working closely with team members and senior leadership to achieve strategic recruitment goals.
About You
- Experience: You have 1-3 years of experience in high-volume recruitment, managing the full recruitment cycle in a fast-paced environment while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Recruitment Knowledge: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems like Dayforce is essential. Experience in the non-profit sector or community healthcare is an asset but not required.
- Organizational Skills: You are highly organized and can manage multiple recruitment tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical for advising candidates and working with internal stakeholders.
- Team Player: You collaborate effectively with HR and hiring teams to meet the organization’s recruitment needs.
