Job Title: Development Coordinator
Job Focus: Real Estate Development
Our client is seeking a Development Coordinator to join their small and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious early-career real estate professional looking for hands-on experience and exposure to a wide variety of projects in a fast-paced and fun team environment. Specific responsibilities will include:
- Support the Development Managers and senior team with day-to-day development tasks to support the effective delivery of projects.
- General project administrative support, including coordinating documents, maintaining up-to-date project files, and preparing reports.
- Prepare and update project schedules and expenditures.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare scheduled agendas, record and distribute minutes.
- Assist with contract reviews and processing consultant proposals.
- Research and report on market and development trends, including local policy changes and municipal requirements.
- Coordinate and liaise with consultant teams, municipal staff and other key stakeholders throughout the project schedule.
- On-going team administration as required.

Skills and Requirements:
- A relevant post-secondary degree or diploma preferably in Real Estate or Urban Land Economics or related field, and ideally 1-2 years of related real estate experience.
- A highly motivated self-starter with a keen interest in real estate development.
- A team player who works well in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- The ability to multitask and prioritize across multiple projects.
- Strong work ethic with a “get it done” attitude.
- Willingness to ask questions and solve problems.
- A “people person” with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Experience with financial analysis is an asset but not required.
The team is small by design, valuing character, passion for the industry, and a willingness to learn over specific experience.
This position will be based out of Vancouver, located in Mount Pleasant.
