About The Work Environment
Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home. Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start/end times.
We are hiring for this position out of our Toronto office. Successful candidates who apply outside of these areas will be expected to relocate and reside in a location that is within a commutable distance.
About You
You are passionate about talent acquisition and you are seeking a role where you can apply your outstanding administration and coordination skills in a regulated, entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and people-focused organization. You are highly organized with a strong attention to detail and you have the ability to track, coordinate and execute processes in a fast-paced environment. You are a quick learner and you are excited about the opportunity to be the administrative backbone of a Talent Acquisition Business Partner team. You have a "roll-up your sleeves" work ethic and you have the ability to support the administrative and projects needs on a People & Culture team that consistently experiences high work volumes.
About The Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum, 2 years of Human Resources administration experience, ideally supporting talent acquisition.
- Advanced user of Excel, and full Microsoft suite.
- Familiarity with and a keen understanding of technology and databases/HR Systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information and sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong relationship building and collaborations skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience recruiting for entry-level positions in a professional environment is an asset.
About The Day-to-day
- Support the Talent Acquisition Business Partners by overseeing and executing recruitment and onboarding administrative processes.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for Temporary employees, including maintaining running records and tracking.
- Manage the recruitment calendar to coordinate and schedule interviews and meetings related to recruiting and onboarding.
- Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding of new hires including scheduling first day orientations and facilitating activities meetings for individual contributors.
- Act as liaison between HR Business Partners, new hires and hiring managers related to onboarding.
- Support the administration requirements of the broader People & Culture team as required, including acting as backup to the HR Administrator in cases of absences and/or high work volumes.
- Facilitating backgrounds checks and reference checks.
- Manage tracking of sensitive employee documentation and correspondence in a well-organized and efficient manner.
- Support the drafting of job postings and offer letters as required.
- Sourcing, phone screening and interviewing candidates for entry-level positions as required.
Compensation
Peoples Group is pleased to offer employees a competitive annual salary plus a discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $62,000 and $72,000 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities and experience that the chosen candidate possess. As part of our recruiting process, shortlisted candidates will be asked their salary expectations for this position.
