THE ROLE
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated intern to support our Global Promotional Capabilities team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in building and implementing promotion planning and analytical tools, while interfacing with our Software Development, Data and Analytics, and Merchandising teams. The ideal candidate is a proactive student with a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for merchandising and marketing.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in project coordination by supporting the Promotional Capabilities Project Manager in planning and executing project-related tasks, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
- Help prepare presentations for meetings with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project status and insights.
- Gather feedback from users on current capability performance and opportunities for future enhancements.
- Maintain documentation of processes, project plans, and key decisions to support the team’s ongoing initiatives.
- Document and track bug reports in JIRA, ensuring clear descriptions and prioritization for timely resolution by the Software Development Team.
- Conduct user acceptance testing to validate software features, ensuring they meet quality standards before deployment.
- Collaborate with the Promotional Capabilities Project Manager and Software Development Team to design and mockup user-friendly interfaces prior to development.
- Regularly review and update training content based on new features, processes, or user feedback to ensure materials remain current and useful.
- Provide technical support to new users, assisting with system setup and troubleshooting software issues.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for enhancing process optimization, identifying gaps, and sharing best practices.

Education
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
- Previous internship or work experience in merchandising, marketing, or a related area is a plus, but not required.
Knowledge And Skills
- Ability to deal well with ambiguity, complexity, change and pace. Comfortable managing multiple projects and tasks, prioritizing amongst them.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with strong ability to translate between business users and other teams.
- Strong proficiency with Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and related Microsoft suite products
- Flexibility around working hours required, due to global scope of role and working across time zones.
Availability
- Ability to commit to a full-time internship for 16-week duration.
