Position Summary

Reporting to the Financial Analyst, the person is responsible for daily financial services duties and customer services for Student Financial Services Department in compliance with the practices of LaSalle College Vancouver.
This job is an on-site position with hours from 8:30 to 5pm Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
- Provide customer services at Student Finance Services window
- Calculate, process and post tuition and fee charges
- Provide exceptional customer service and build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including, but not limited to, the employees and students of LaSalle College Vancouver
- Follow up and respond to inquiries and/or questions in a timely manner
- Assist in month end and year end preparation
- Participate in Student information events such as student orientation presentation
- Perform other related duties, as assigned
Education & Experience
PROFILE OF THE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIRED
- High School diploma with a diploma in Business preferred
- Minimum 1 year of related experience working in an office environment and in a similar role
- Experience in Higher Education would be an asset
- Good with numbers and detail orientated
Knowledge
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Beginner to Intermediate Excel skills
