Marketing Coordinator Job Responsibilities:
· Markets products by developing and supporting marketing and advertising campaigns in relation to preferred partner marketing plans
· Communication management – preparation and circulation of weekly newsletter, monthly marketing emails to the network and any ad hoc communication required by the Supplier Relations team
· Management of all in market preferred partner offers and campaigns via various internal and external marketing channels
· Creates preferred supplier marketing plans, presents plans, demonstrates marketing tools and negotiates with the partners as required
· Analyzes results from the various marketing campaigns and reports statistical numbers back to Supplier Relations with strengths and new opportunities for growth
· Prepares and supports marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives for meetings; planning and organizing promotional presentations; and updates calendars
· Focus on Owners and Agent Engagement through optimizing communication vehicles and marketing effectiveness
· Various administrative responsibilities including implementing marketing production plans and schedules, invoicing submission with backup, maintaining contact lists, updating internal and external websites, etc.
· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading trade publications.
· Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests
· Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Marketing Coordinator Qualifications / Skills:

- Knowledge of the Canadian travel industry with a focus on preferred suppliers is preferred
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
- Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the travel industry
- Experience managing marketing databases, email, social media and/or displaying advertising campaigns
- Solid organizational skills and detail oriented
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills
- Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Working knowledge of HTML, Canva or related graphic design platforms, Facebook, Email marketing platforms (ActOn, Campaign Monitor)
- French language an asset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $47,000.00-$57,000.00 per year
