Their Systems Team is integral to supporting their Development strategies, and they are seeking a skilled Fundraising Systems Specialist to join their team on a 3-month contract basis. This role is pivotal in enhancing their data architecture and reporting processes, contributing to their mission of impactful fundraising. This contract is located in Burnaby, BC.
The Fundraising Systems Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing various aspects of their Raiser's Edge system to ensure effective data management and reporting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Raiser's Edge and a strong background in data analysis, reporting, and system transitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular weekly reviews and approvals of donation batches to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Perform regularly scheduled complex data pulls, with a focus on creating distribution lists for Development strategies.
- Assist in a critical project to reconfigure data architecture related to organization contacts and relationship management records. This will facilitate more efficient data pulls for organizational record types and streamline the process of pulling lists of organizational contacts.
- Provide support for miscellaneous non-cyclical reporting, including one-off custom reports (e.g., consolidated donor reports) and other ad-hoc analysis.
- Aid in transitioning cyclical reporting from the current Raiser's Edge ‘database-view’ format to the ‘webview’ format.
- Assist in developing and implementing a plan to transition day-to-day operations from ‘database-view’ to ‘webview’. This includes updating existing and new procedures to align with ‘webview-based’ Standard Operating Procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day questions from Advancement staff related to Raiser's Edge.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Raiser's Edge is required.
- Strong background in data management and reporting.
- Experience with data architecture and system transitions
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical staff.
