Salary in range of $50,000 to $55,000 depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities
- Job cost accounting for a diverse portfolio of construction projects
- Review incoming invoices and classifying against budget
- Process subcontractor invoices, and work with Accounting Manager to ensure all applicable lien waivers are submitted and contracts and insurance requirements are in place
- Preparation of monthly job cost reports
- Bookkeeping
- Managing expenses
- Other duties as required or assigned by Project Team or Accounting Manager
Qualifications
· Accounting and bookkeeping courses
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles
· Previous construction-related accounting experience as asset
· Knowledge of current lien act as asset
· Leadership skills including diplomacy, discretion and advanced problem-solving
· Ability to work independently and as part of a high-functioning team
· Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
· Exceptional multi-tasking, prioritizing and organizational skills
· Microsoft Office: Word, very strong Excel knowledge, Outlook
· Quickbooks Online
· 2-3 years previous experience
