Are you our new Learning and Development Coordinator?

At Grant Thornton, you can use your focus on the learner experience and keen attention to detail to ensure our learning initiatives run smoothly, and that registration, attendance tracking, and compliance reporting go off without a hitch. As a Learning and Development Coordinator your responsibilities will include:
Operations & Support
- Manage end-user support, which includes (but is not limited to) monitoring and responding to emails in the Learning inbox in accordance with defined service level agreements
- Provide end-user and administrative support on our core learning systems
- Create and update process and support documentation, presentations and best practice guidelines
- Be responsible for a variety of recurring and ad hoc tracking, reporting, analysis, and the distribution of training completion and compliance reports
- Support the delivery of learning including sending communications, monitoring enrolments, compliance tracking, and reporting
- Analyze and summarize course evaluation feedback
- Contribute to process improvement through active policy and process review as well as day-to-day operations
- Support the design and development of new processes and procedures aligned to Learning with Integrity
- Maintain data integrity within our learning systems and ensure standards are being adhered to
- Special projects and other duties as assigned
Learning Technology Expertise
- Support end-user adoption of our learning technology system
- Set up learning assets and instructor-led training in our learning systems (LMS/Docebo, LXP/Degreed)
- Assign training to users in our learning systems (LMS/Docebo, LXP/Degreed)
- Prepare content for the LMS/Docebo and LXP/Degreed, ensuring course content is current, correct and complete
- Implement learning paths, plans and curricula, and collaborate with internal colleagues to enhance the learning experience
- Track and monitor completion of required advanced preparation materials/assets (“pre-work”) in the LMS/Docebo or LXP/Degreed to support programs and events for
- Troubleshoot LMS/Docebo and LXP/Degreed issues to maintain a well-functioning and seamless learning environment for all users
- Day-to-day LMS/Docebo and LXP/Degreed administration activities
- Support other ad-hoc projects and activities as assigned
Collaboration
- Provide expert advice to colleagues and key stakeholders related to learning delivery, tracking and compliance
- Communicate and coordinate with content developers and outside service providers to ensure on-time delivery of required course materials and program set up
- Proactively communicate with the broader L&D team to ensure the smooth delivery of our courses and learning programs

Think you’ve got what it takes to be a Learning and Development Coordinator? Like the colour purple? Great. Here's a few more boxes we’re also hoping you can tick:
- Completed post-secondary education (university degree and/or college diploma)
- 2-3 years prior experience with learning and development program coordination (preferably at a professional services firm)
- Experience working with analytics and learning technologies (LMS/Docebo, LXP/Degreed)
- Strong technical knowledge of applications, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, along with the ability to adapt to new tools/applications; Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP and Macros preferred
- Outstanding organization, prioritization and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Exceptional communication skills with the confidence and passion to share knowledge
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to helping our clients, colleagues and communities thrive
- Self-starter, who is resourceful and curious and able to work independently
- Creative thinker who is observant, seeks new perspectives, and is perceptive to abstract ideas
- Goal-driven individual motivated to seek out continuous improvement opportunities
- Demonstrated ability to resolve issues in timely, diplomatic, and effective manner
