Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Event Assistant to support the planning, organization, and execution of a variety of events. The ideal candidate is highly organized, a strong communicator, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in event coordination and management while working with a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning Support: Assist in the planning and execution of events, including conferences, corporate meetings, product launches, trade shows, and social events.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate event logistics such as venue setup, catering, audiovisual equipment, and transportation arrangements.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and other external partners to ensure event needs are met on time and within budget.
- On-site Support: Provide on-site event support, including registration management, guest assistance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Marketing and Promotion: Assist in the promotion of events through social media, email marketing, and other channels.
- Administrative Duties: Prepare event materials, maintain event calendars, and manage RSVPs and attendee lists.
- Budget Assistance: Track event expenses and assist with managing budgets to ensure financial goals are met.
- Post-Event Tasks: Support post-event wrap-up, including follow-up with attendees, debriefs, and event evaluation.

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or related field is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with event management software or tools (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
