Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Sales Coordinator to drive the launch of Ecom Local - our innovative same-day delivery service designed specifically for small to medium-sized businesses. As the go-to shipping solution for local businesses, Ecom Local offers seamless, turn-key delivery technology that ensures fast, affordable and reliable 3-hour delivery.
In this role, you will be responsible for both door-to-door sales and inside sales (cold calling). You will engage directly with business owners, introducing them to Ecom Local and persuading them to integrate our service into their operations. Whether it’s knocking on doors or making calls, your goal is to build relationships, close sales, and ensure our clients experience the benefits of our technology-driven solution.
Key Responsibilities:
Cold Calling:
- Conduct daily cold calls to potential clients, introducing them to Ecom Local’s same-day delivery services.
- Qualify leads by understanding their business needs and determining how Ecom Local can add value.
- Schedule follow-up calls and meetings to build relationships and progress leads through the sales funnel.
Client Visits:
- Visit potential clients in person to present Ecom Local’s offerings, demonstrate the platform, and discuss how our services can benefit their business.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the local market, identifying key areas for growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with business owners and decision-makers, providing personalized service to convert leads into customers.
Sales Strategy:
- Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement strategies for reaching and exceeding sales targets.
- Provide feedback on customer needs, market trends, and product improvements to the management team.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall sales strategy with insights from client interactions.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Track and document all sales activities, including cold calls, client visits, and follow-ups, in the CRM system.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends.
- Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support lead generation efforts and coordinate on promotional campaigns.
- Work with the customer service team to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing satisfaction for new clients.
Travel:
- Travel within the local region to meet with clients (a valid driver’s license and access to a car are required).
- Occasionally attend networking events and industry conferences to represent Ecom Local and expand your professional network.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in sales, particularly in cold calling and face-to-face client interactions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a car are required.
