The Role
We are seeking a self-motivated, flexible, team-oriented Technical Support Part-Time Intern (Developer/Programmer) to help develop tools to improve capabilities and effectiveness of the Technical Support organization. These tools are necessary to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction for our existing customers. These tools would assist support and QA staff with log analysis, automation, and reporting.
Qualifications
- Creating scripts and tools to improve support’s ability to diagnose technical problems.
- Updating and maintaining existing tools, organizing, and updating the lab environment.
- Strong knowledge in the areas of API functionality, MVC frameworks and databases
- Ability to script in multiple languages like Python, Perl, Powershell, C#, Bootstrap and its related libraries
- Ability to learn and take on new and exciting challenges
- Experience demonstrating outstanding tools and designs with best practices in distributed systems
- Experience with Full Stack development as well as knowledge with design/development frameworks
- Nice to have Nodejs, Flask, MERN stack, Javascript, React.js, GitHub/BitBucket. Linux.
Candidate Profile
You have the ability and interest in working
part time (a maximum of
30 hours/week) in our Toronto, ON office. You are currently pursuing an
undergraduate degree and maintaining an above average GPA. This internship is scheduled to start immediately and run through the end of December 2024.
