We are looking for someone who is passionate about operations excellence, transformation, and modernization and is ready to support the planning and delivery of strategic initiatives in the Retail, Residential and Office sectors. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Operations Excellence, the successful candidate will receive mentorship, coaching and guidance throughout your time at Oxford.
Our portfolio of projects spans our Canadian business and will require interaction with employees at all levels. We are looking for candidates who are analytical thinkers with strong project management skills, are organized, demonstrate superb communication skills (written and oral), are comfortable with feedback and have an interest in delivering large and complex business initiatives.
This opportunity is for an 8-month term beginning in January 2025.
Job Responsibilities
- Assisting the Directors and Senior Managers of Operations Excellence execute on several transformation initiatives, supporting end-to-end planning and delivery
- Providing administrative and project / portfolio management support all Operations Excellence-led initiatives (both internal and business-facing)
- Leading / participating in cross-team planning, governance, and reporting meetings and workshops
- Developing the needed tools, templates, processes, and workflows to help streamline business processes and positively impact the Canadian portfolio’s total return and Net Operating Income
- Helping to lead / support internal meetings and team development initiatives
- Managing relationships with key business stakeholders
- Developing solutions working in conjunction with our business, finance, data, and technology teams
- Development of presentation and preparation materials to support meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Ad hoc research, assignments, and deliverables, as needed
You Should Apply If
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, or Sustainability
- Passionate about pursuing a career in Operations Excellence, Transformation, Sustainability, and/ or Project / Portfolio / Product Management
- Intellectually curious, self-motivated and directed, and committed to learning
- Able to produce clear, logical and polished deliverables and artifacts
- Able to prioritize and deliver high quality product within deadlines
- Adept at creating materials on MS PowerPoint and Excel, and comfortable with learning new PM tools (i.e., Asana, DevOps)
- Experience leading projects is an asset
- Experience driving process improvements is an asset
