About The Role
Dive into a Kay Account Executive role at Reckitt. You will be accountable for account management responsibilities supporting regional retail partners, driving customer growth through partnership, negotiation and executing against our 4P strategies. You will be tasked with delivering compelling and fact-based insights to drive business building initiatives and measuring their impact, while actively managing an efficient P&L for growth
Your responsibilities
In Summary, You'll
- Develop and manage customer relationship and negotiations with buyers; contribute to customer strategy ensuring local Reckitt business objectives are achieved
- Develop promotional strategy and execution in customers
- Overall Continuous improvement - identify opportunities for efficiency and profitability in the management of categories and trade spend to drive business growth
- Achieve / exceed all key sales measures and target for the assigned accounts (Gross and Net Sales, Gross Margin, Trade Spend)
- Work in close partnership with Trade Marketing to ensure development and implementation of customer category strategy and best in class 4P execution
- Develop a sales plan & forecast for your customer(s) driving efficiency and growth based on previous key learnings.
- Lead the Marketing initiatives coordinating with the retailer as well as internal Reckitt teams to ensure timely completion of all components.
- Utilize retailer POS data to compile & interpret in-depth customer analysis and provide recommendations on 4P's to maximize opportunities (including, but not limited to; stores selling, DC & store level inventory, pre/post promo analysis, display mix, sell through, pricing, etc.).
- Leverage available market data from available systems to identify business building opportunities.
- Timely management of deduction processing
The experience we're looking for
- University Degree in a Business-related discipline preferred
- Relevant co-op experience in CPG industry preferred
- Ability to prioritize in a complex environment while consistently meeting deadlines
- Curiosity, data mining for action and insights
- Striving to understand high-level strategy and translating it into tactics
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-based skills
- Good knowledge of the consumer-packaged goods industry and Canadian retail landscape
