The Role:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement tailored therapy programs for children aged 0-18 with diverse needs, including sensory processing disorders, developmental delays, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and more.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide holistic care and support for each child.
- Deliver individual therapy sessions in a fun, engaging, and supportive manner.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of assessments, progress, and treatment plans.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in paediatric occupational therapy and contribute to a learning-focused environment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Degree: Master's or Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensing: Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
- Experience: Previous experience working with children in a clinical or community-based setting is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of paediatric developmental milestones and therapy techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to create and implement personalized therapy plans.
- Compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to therapy.
