We are seeking an experienced aviation professional to serve as a Program Evaluator for our Ground Crew and Airline Services program. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in airport ground operations and airline services, along with a strong understanding of current industry practices and educational standards.Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the Ground Crew and Airline Services program curriculum to ensure it meets industry standards and PTIB requirements.
- Review course materials for relevance to current airport and airline practices, safety protocols, and emerging trends in the aviation industry.
- Assess the balance between theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the program.
- Provide recommendations for incorporating real-world scenarios and hands-on training into the curriculum.
- Collaborate with faculty to align the curriculum with industry needs and PTIB standards.
- Conduct interviews with aviation industry stakeholders to gather insights on required skills for ground crew and airline service professionals.
- Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports with actionable recommendations for program improvement.
- Verify that the program meets PTIB's quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Hospitality Management, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in airport ground operations, airline services, or related aviation roles.
- Strong knowledge of airport safety regulations and airline industry standards.
- Familiarity with curriculum evaluation methodologies and PTIB educational standards.
- Experience in adult education or professional training in the aviation industry is highly desirable.
Skills and Competencies:
- Comprehensive knowledge of ground handling operations, passenger services, and airline procedures.
- Strong analytical skills to assess curriculum effectiveness in meeting industry needs and PTIB standards.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex aviation concepts and procedures clearly.
- Familiarity with aviation industry software and emerging technologies.
- Attention to detail in ensuring all aspects of the program align with PTIB regulatory requirements and aviation industry standards.
- Ability to interpret and apply PTIB standards to curriculum development and evaluation in the context of aviation education.
