Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia is currently searching for a
Registration Coordinator, Examinations and Admissions Support to join our team in Burnaby!
The Registration Coordinator will help to coordinate the Registration Department’s online technical examination initiative as well as provide support to other admissions-related examinations. This individual will provide technical and logistics support related to the hosting of online examinations as well as customer support for candidates. Additional duties will involve supporting departmental team functions related to the registration process for engineering and geoscience applicants.

What You Will Be Doing
- Contributing to the coordination of the academic examination program; this includes communication with candidates, administrative support, and participation in the invigilation of examination sessions.
- Uploading and publishing of examination content using online assessment software; planning, monitoring and reporting on examination scheduling activities; tracking examination session tasks and progress.
- Coordinating candidate and providing support to candidates with daily email/phone monitoring; liaising with proctors and third-party service providers; triaging and resolving candidate/proctor issues.
- Coordinating exam marking results and updates, and participating in exam marking preparation.
- Reviewing exam session performance and assisting with program improvement implementation.
- Providing support to additional admissions related examinations such as the National Professional Practice Examination (NPPE) and the BC Codes and Practices Examination (BCCP).
- Supporting engineering and geoscience applicants on the application process, advising on registration policies, and recommending the optimal route of application. Communicating with and counseling applicants during the academic and experience assessment processes and decision stages of their applications.
- Supporting the Manager, Examinations in information gathering activities to ensure Registration data quality and integrity. This includes conducting research on best practices to support policies and procedures, conducting analyses on existing data and reports on applications and KPIs, and developing reports/presentations.
- Other duties as assigned by direct leader and, as appropriate, members of the divisional leadership team.
What You Bring To The Table
The successful applicant will possess the following:
- 2-5 years previous relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Exceptional organizational skills, including managing multiple competing priorities and adapting quickly to emerging priorities.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Knowledge and application of privacy policy, records security, and document management protocols.

This role offers a competitive compensation and benefits program including a salary within our hiring range of $59,500 to $66,500.
