Looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Administrative Coordinator to join our team.

The Administrative Coordinator is a pivotal role, overseeing the administrative operations of the salon. You’ll manage client profiles, schedule appointments, and ensure the salon is always a welcoming, polished space. If you are personable, professional, and proactive, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Maintain financial accuracy by managing transactions, ensuring proper cash flow management, and distributing cash tips responsibly.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, to execute administrative tasks effectively.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily reports to management, ensuring precision and adherence to deadlines.
- Oversee and monitor product inventory to ensure accurate pricing, appropriate visibility, and timely restocking.
- Provide exceptional customer service by warmly greeting and assisting clients upon arrival and departure.
- Manage and maintain accurate client profiles, ensuring all details are current and properly recorded.
- Efficiently schedule and manage appointments while coordinating barbers schedules to optimize operations.
- Handle phone and email communications in a professional and courteous manner, addressing inquiries promptly.
- Ensure the reception and salon areas remain clean, organized, and reflective of Truefitt & Hill’s high standards.
- Support team members by fostering effective communication and collaboration to deliver an exceptional client experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word) to manage administrative tasks effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written communication skills for crafting clear, professional emails.
- Excellent interpersonal and phone etiquette to foster positive client relationships.
- Expertise in managing financial transactions, including cash flow operations and tip distribution.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage inventory efficiently.
- Flexibility and a keen eye for detail, coupled with excellent time management capabilities.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to address and resolve challenging situations diplomatically.
- Relevant experience in similar roles (1-2 years preferred).
- Familiarity with Salon Software (an asset).
Required Education
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
- Post Secondary Certificate/ Diploma (preferred)
