Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide assessment, intervention, and support for children with diverse developmental, physical, and sensory needs specifically autism. This role involves working closely with families, schools, and other professionals to foster meaningful outcomes in a community setting.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess motor, sensory, and functional skills.
· Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the unique needs of each child
· Collaborate with families, caregivers, and educators to create supportive strategies for children in home, school, and community settings.
· Provide parent education and training to empower caregivers in supporting their child’s progress.
· Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with professional and organizational standards.
· Participate in team meetings, professional development, and community outreach initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Current licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist in BC.
- Experience: Preferably 1-2 years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy, though new graduates with a strong passion for pediatrics are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of sensory integration, fine motor skills, and developmental milestones.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: $60.00-$80.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
