We are looking for a part-time weekend food service and baking prep to join our team.
The position is 1-2 shifts per week (approx 8-15 hours per week) scheduled between 9am-6pm depending on the day/shift.
Starting in March 2025 there will be an opportunity to turn this position into full-time as hours and busyness expand in the spring/summer.
You MUST have at least 2 years of previous food service and prep experience in a cafe-type setting, and be confident to work solo.
You will work line service during weekends fulfilling customer orders as well as food and baking prep. Shifts will start around 10am-5pm on weekends. You will also need to know how to watch inventory levels and make new production lists for the next days shift. Communication, quality and consistency are key to success.
You will be baking off and food prepping our assortment of baked good items and food service menu.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a bakery AND food preparation role
- Creative and self-motivated
- Passion for seasonal, ingredient-driven food
- Has strong principles in regard to proper cooking techniques, and an eye for detail
- Keen understanding of kitchen operations and workflow
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

- Ensuring care is taken for all ingredients and displaying proper technique and safe handling.
- Responsible for creating and following standardized recipes and portioning for completed dishes.
- Inventory, cleaning, organizing, and maintenance.
- Ensures correct use, storage, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment and facility.
- Responsible for working in a clean, and organized manner.
- Complies with local food safety regulations.
