We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team and contribute to our next stage of growth. In this collaborative role, you’ll support the execution of marketing and brand initiatives, working closely with the Sales, Engagement, and Support teams. With a proactive attitude, you’ll help tackle new challenges and make a meaningful impact across various campaigns and projects. Our lean team moves quickly with a high level of output. This role is ideal for candidates excited to get a breadth of experience and opportunities across marketing functions as part of a growing team.

Skills
Traction Rec’rs come from a variety of backgrounds, and we are eager to find people that are from diverse backgrounds. For this role, you might have :
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in business administration, marketing, communications, advertising or relevant experience.
- 2+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the B2B environments or technology sector.
- You're a creative thinker who can adapt to a fast-paced environment where every day brings something new.
- You have exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks, while staying on top of ad hoc requests and tight deadlines.
- A natural communicator who can clearly express ideas and work well with both internal teams and external partners.
- You’re excited about being hands on with marketing and sales business applications while working towards more data-driven operations
- You have a knack for writing, formatting, and creating visually engaging designs, with a sharp eye for detail.
- Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms (experience with tools like Salesforce, Pardot, Adobe Photoshop or Canva, Hootsuite, and Webflow is a plus!).
- Graphic design experience is highly valued in this role.
- You’re comfortable using website and social media tools and have experience publishing content.
- You’re a self-starter who thrives in small teams.
- Bonus points if you’ve worked with nonprofits, community centers, or in the Salesforce ecosystem.
What You Will Be Doing
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Engagement, and Support) to coordinate and support marketing programs.
- Develop and assist with marketing materials, including brochures, reports, newsletters, and social media content that resonate with our target audience.
- Maintain and organize marketing assets, keeping our portfolio of communication content and collateral updated and accessible.
- Support the development of presentations and materials used to engage prospects and customers, ensuring they reflect our brand and messaging.
- Leverage marketing tools and to support and manage marketing activities.
- Assist in collecting, tracking, and analyzing marketing data across campaigns, programs, and toolsets.
- Assist in our participation in both in-person and virtual events, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees and team members by supporting logistics, handling administrative tasks as needed.
- Coordinate award submissions, including researching opportunities, preparing materials, and submitting applications.
- Research and work with vendors to support content creation and promotional production needs.
- Support ancillary marketing and communication needs across business departments (People, Support, Services, or Product)
- Occasional travel to support event execution (Must be able to travel in Canada and US, without restriction)
Compensation
At Traction Rec, we are committed to a fair, market-based and equitable compensation structure. Our market data is refreshed on an annual basis to reflect the most current market conditions.
The starting salary band for this role is $70,000-$75,000. Starting salaries will vary within this range based on experience, skill level, and internal equity related to the role.
