Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful analysis to support business decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in various accounting software.
Duties
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Perform financial auditing to identify discrepancies and ensure adherence to policies.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and PeopleSoft for efficient record-keeping.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support corporate finance initiatives.
- Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and PeopleSoft.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Experience in account analysis and financial auditing.
- Familiarity with budgeting practices and financial services.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills for collaboration across departments.
- Knowledge of corporate finance principles is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22 – 24 per week

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
