The position is with a Canadian Financial institution.
The candidate will participate in support and updates of IBM BPM/BAW and Java applications.
Skills
- 5+ years development experience with Java and J2EE
- Experience with IBM BPM and BAW
- Experience with Weblogic and Websphere
- Experience with SOAP and REST APIs
- Experience with XML and JSON
- Experience with RDBMS
- Experience with unit testing frameworks, such as JUnit, Mockito, etc.
- Experience with Git/GitHub
- Ability to maintain and enhance inherited code with best coding practices
- Good understanding of Unix/Linux
- Excellent communication skills
- Autonomous and proactive in handling requests.
- Ability to work under pressure (incidents, tight deadlines and several projects at once)
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate
- Analytical mind and demonstrated problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Digital banking experience
- Experience with migration from IBM BPM to BAW
- Good understanding of version control
- Knowledge of Agile methodology
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions
