Marketing specialist
We're looking for an experienced Marketing Specialist to join our team. Salary will be open to negotiation based on experience.
Desired Qualities
You have experience designing, developing and deploying marketing, sales and advertising campaigns. You track KPIs and find ways to boost ROI. You have worked on email campaigns, website blogs, Facebook and Instagram advertising, and really know your way around social media. You are a fast learner and are motivated to get things done with little supervision. You love writing copy content to attain the biggest conversions possible and you're a perfectionist - measuring every campaign to see how we can improve and what was successful. You have an eye for photography (to photograph our jewellery for social media and website inventory) and for visually appealing advertisements (such as designing an event poster). You love finding new marketing opportunities, are always aware and researching the next big thing we can locally advertise/promote with.

Key Responsibilities
- Create, deploy and manage marketing campaigns i.e. website, email, social media accounts, print production, radio spots, and local events.
- Identify and find meaningful ways to connect with our target audience.
- Write creatively crafted customer emails, website copy, social media content, print invitations and radio scripts.
- Analyze campaign performance and online analytics, then suggest improvements.
- Manage and update the company website's blog, content and inventory
- Be the lead for all bridal events, wine and cheese nights, trunk shows and any in-store / off-location promotions.
- Maintain dialogue with brand contacts for updates on their marketing materials and recommendations.
- Responsible for sourcing suppliers and marketing providers, as well as managing and settling their contracts.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the marketing field
- Proven work experience as a marketing assistant or manager
- Experienced with all common social media platforms
- Has planned and executed events
- Familiarity with analytics and reporting
- Proficient with Excel

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
