Job Summary
Now, if you were to come on board as a
Financial Analyst, Operations we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Financial Operations:
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports, including flash reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Review and direct payroll processing to reflect accurate labor costs.
- Administrative Management:
- Coordinate office operations, including the documentation of inventory, invoices, and sales.
- Maintain accurate records for head office, including payroll and inventory reports.
- Operational Support:
- Oversee inventory documentation and ensure accurate counts and entries.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, WHMIS regulations, and organizational policies.
- Data Management and Analysis:
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards, Orbit, or similar) for data analysis and reporting.
- Monitor and improve operational processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- CPA designation (completed or in progress) preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in finance/accounting and 1 year in office administration.
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel; proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and ERP/accounting software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
