We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for prospecting and lead generation, pipeline management, product knowledge, and assisting in the coordination of active projects with our internal team. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with our Outside Sales Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Place outgoing calls to our prospective client database to arrange introductory appointments for our Outside Sales Team.
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
Pipeline Management:
- Gather, record, and understand client needs and requirements.
- Confirm, update, and build client database using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions with leads and customers within the CRM.
- Manage and prioritize a sales pipeline to ensure timely follow-ups.
Product Knowledge:
- Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest in our products/services.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of our company services and how they address client needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends to effectively communicate our value proposition.
Proposal Generation:
- Create compelling and customized proposals for potential clients.
- Collaborate with the Outside Sales Team to tailor proposals to specific client and project requirements.
- Ensure that proposals align with the company's capabilities and pricing structures.
Negotiation and Closing:
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Outside Sales Representative for further engagement
Qualifications:
- Proven inside sales experience is an asset.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be consultative and strategic.
- Customer service-focused approach to interactions.
- Excellent listening skills and the ability to read, react, and adapt sales approaches as necessary.
- Proficient computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
