Role Overview:
We are seeking a creative part-time Digital Content Creator, you will be responsible for ideating, creating, and distributing compelling content that elevates Pillar Digital’s online presence. You’ll work closely with our marketing, production, and client-facing teams to ensure our voice, brand identity, and campaigns are consistently and authentically represented across social media channels. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about video marketing, brand storytelling, and staying ahead of social media trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create & Schedule Social Media Content: Ideate, develop, and publish engaging content—including short-form videos, graphics, and copy—across Pillar and our clients' social channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.).
- Campaign Execution: Contribute to social-first campaign ideas and support larger integrated campaigns in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Creative Production: Spearhead the production of content—from concept to execution—including graphic design display, video editing, and copywriting when needed.
- Social Listening & Engagement: Actively monitor social platforms for mentions and trends; respond to comments, DMs, and community queries to foster a positive brand experience.
- Competitor Analysis: Conduct periodic competitor audits and market research to identify gaps, opportunities, and best practices.
- Performance Measurement & Reporting: Track the success of social media initiatives (e.g., follower growth, engagement rates, conversions) and communicate insights to refine our content strategies.
- Content Calendar Management: Maintain an organized content calendar, ensuring deadlines, updates, and changes are communicated to key stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with broader marketing, digital, and client partnership teams to align content with brand objectives, campaigns, and client projects.
- User-Generated Content: Identify and curate user-generated content to showcase brand stories, client wins, and behind-the-scenes moments.
- Community Building: Cultivate a supportive online community by facilitating authentic interactions that align with Pillar Digital’s brand values.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of managing brand social media channels or similar content creation role. A background in video marketing or video production is an asset.
- On-Camera Confidence: You’re comfortable appearing on camera as part of the content creation process—either as a host, spokesperson, or supporting role.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics) and best practices on major platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube).
- Creative Eye: Strong design sensibility and passion for storytelling. Comfortable with basic graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva) and video editing software (e.g. Davinci Resolve, CapCut).
- Adaptable: Highly organized, able to multitask, and pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Capable of interfacing with cross-functional teams and external partners in a clear, professional manner.
- Brand Alignment: Understanding of brand identity and adherence to strict brand guidelines. Passion for building a consistent, cohesive brand experience across channels.
- Team Player: Confident in collaborating with diverse teams, yet comfortable working independently. Willing to share ideas, feedback, and innovations.
