Job Description:
As an eCommerce Marketing Junior, you will focus on enhancing the digital storefront experience for our clients through effective merchandising strategies. You'll collaborate with our marketing, creative, and sales teams to optimize product categorization, develop promotional content, and execute key campaigns. While copywriting will be part of the role, your primary focus will be on the digital store merchandising aspects that drive conversions and sales.
You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and the creative team to merchandise products, create promotions, and ensure seamless integration with marketing campaigns. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the intersection of eCommerce, digital marketing, and merchandising.
Location: Greater Vancouver Area
Hours/Days: 9AM to 5PM; Monday to Friday
Start Date: Immediately
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Store Merchandising: Manage product categorization, create and update product bundles, and build promotional offers and coupons within the eCommerce platform.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Creative Teams: Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to merchandise products, create visually appealing layouts, and implement seasonal and promotional campaigns.
- Product Data Management: Ensure products are correctly categorized, optimized for search, and have accurate product details to support the customer journey and drive sales.
- Promotions & Coupons: Build, test, and implement promotional offers, discounts, and coupon codes that align with marketing initiatives and business goals.
- Campaign Execution: Assist in the execution of integrated marketing campaigns through email, SMS, and live chat to drive sales, customer engagement, and retention.
- Reporting & Analysis: Monitor performance of digital merchandising efforts, track KPIs, and provide insights to improve sales and customer engagement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the sales and marketing teams to create omnichannel experiences that boost customer acquisition, loyalty, and referrals.
You Will Become an Expert In:
- Building and optimizing product categories, creating bundles, and managing promotions on WooCommerce and other eCommerce platforms.
- Executing and measuring the effectiveness of promotional campaigns across email, SMS, and live chat automation.
- Collaborating with creative teams to align digital merchandising with the brand’s aesthetic and customer needs.
- Contributing to the strategic development of product promotions and offers that directly drive sales growth.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A passion for eCommerce and digital merchandising.
- Experience or strong interest in WooCommerce or similar eCommerce platforms.
- Ability to manage product data, create bundles, and build promotions to optimize the online shopping experience.
- Familiarity with website builders like Elementor, Swift, or Divi is an asset.
- Basic understanding of web development (HTML, CSS, JSS) is an asset.
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A self-starter with a desire to learn and grow in the eCommerce field.
- Ability to stay organized and work efficiently under pressure.
Additional Skills and Aptitude:
- Experience with WordPress and WooCommerce is an asset.
- A post-secondary degree or diploma is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Hourly rate + competitive commission.

You will work with the team in beautiful Vancouver, located in the heart of Yaletown, driving eCommerce sales for regulated products.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
