Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring that all patrons have an enjoyable experience. Your role is crucial in maintaining the bar's reputation for quality service and hospitality.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene when necessary to ensure responsible drinking.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending is required.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food service operations is beneficial.
- Excellent cash handling skills, including basic math proficiency for accurate transaction processing.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances the guest experience.
- Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- A background in hospitality or food service is desirable, showcasing your ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Additional Requirements
- Must have a valid Smart Serve certification.
- Must have a Food Handler certificate.

Pay: $17.20 per hour
