Location: Calgary, Edmonton, or Toronto
Duration: 1 year
Pay Rate (T4): $69.10
Schedule: M-F 7am-4pm

Overview:
The Contract Conformance Specialist (CCS) manages day-to-day conformance responsibilities for assigned capital and maintenance projects, ensuring contractual obligations are met. The CCS interacts with third parties and in-house departments, facilitating communication and resolution of contractual matters.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with Project Execution contracting strategy.
Prepare contract exhibits and technical contract language.
Support contract negotiations and manage change order processes.
Maintain contractor correspondence and documentation logs.
Review contractor invoices for compliance and coordinate contract close-out.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, legal, technical, or business discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience; or
Associate's degree with 7-10 years of relevant experience.
Experience in the gas pipeline industry preferred.
Significant experience performing contract administration at a field (construction site).
Proficiency with office computer applications such as SAP, Oracle, and SharePoint
Experience in front-end RFx processes (contract strategy development, RFx preparation, managing bid/evaluate/award cycle, contract negotiation/formation, and contract execution) is a plus
Knowledge of provincial construction regulations and applicable Builders Lien Acts (NT, AB, SK, MB, ON) is also a plus
