About This Opportunity
In this role in the Food Service & On Premise (FSOP) channel, you will assist in the development of analytical tools and provide analysis to support management routines and fact-based decision-making with the objective of accelerating profitable, sustainable revenue growth. The analytics and recommendations provided by you will be essential to identifying opportunities for customer growth. You will also lead part of the Trade Board process that evaluates the profitability of new contracts, renewals, and pricing defensibility across the customer channels.
Responsibilities
- Extract data and conduct revenue analysis
- Support Trade Board management with setting the agenda, preparing the Trade Board Deck and sending meeting minutes
- Build customer P&L, conduct scenario analysis and support the sales team with insights on financials
- Conduct post-audit on the contracts to examine variance between plan and actuals
- Review pricing requests and perform benchmarking of the pricing to maintain price coherency
- Support the team on annual Business Planning process
- Review legal documents to ensure the terms match what was approved at the Trade Board
- Own and maintain the Trade Board tracker
Qualifications
- 1 year of business analysis experience is an asset (sales, category management, commercial or finance preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (commerce, finance, economics, data science, mathematics or general business are considered an asset)
- Advanced proficiency in excel with an ability to model large data sets (macros are considered an asset)

- Experience in introductory data science or programming languages is an asset
